Yes, our team has extensive background with insurance claims, and we have helped get many roofs approved by insurance. We can help you put in a claim, and we’ll be there to meet with the adjuster to show them the damage. If what they approve isn’t enough, we’ll help you with the supplementing process.

Roofing

The cost of a new roof depends on a lot of factors. Our pricing is always transparent and consistent. To get an idea of how much it will cost, you can use our roofing cost calculator. Keep in mind, the most accurate way to know how much your roof will cost is to get a free inspection.

The most obvious sign you might need a new roof is if you have leaks. You should also look for streaks and granule loss as a sign that your roof is at the end of its life. Most roofs need to be replaced after about 20-30 years. If you have damage from hail, wind, or ice dams, you might need your roof replaced sooner. If you have damage like that, ask us about the possibility of getting your roof replacement paid for by your homeowner’s insurance.

First we’d ask, how old is your roof? If the shingles are old and brittle, a repair may not be possible without damaging the surrounding shingles. If the shingles installed on your roof are discontinued, we might not be able to find a compatible match. In Connecticut, homeowner’s insurance companies are required by law to pay for a whole roof replacement if a matching shingle can’t be found. If your roof is still pretty new, it might be possible to do just a repair.

Almost every roof we install is completed in one day. If your roof is particularly large or complex, it might go into a second day, but this is the exception rather than the rule.

For the exterior of your house, we use tarps to cover the side of your house like a ramp. We typically keep one tarp attached to the gutter line, and one tarp on the ground to contain the debris. After the install is complete, we use a large rolling magnet to pick up any nails that might have dropped. Sometimes mistakes happen because our installers are human. But if anything is damaged, we will make it right.
