Our Story and Mission

          Elevate Exteriors exists to build up our homes, our lives, and our communities here in Connecticut. Justin, Brianna, and I started this out of necessity, and we did it with a drive to be disruptively different. We operate our roofing, siding, and various exterior repairs with transparency and integrity as a means to provide for our families. But in addition to that, we are using our business as a means to leave a legacy, dedicating time and resources to help those in need, advance education in marginalized regions, and provide safe and affordable housing for all.

          Before residential construction work, I was a licensed healthcare practitioner. If that sounds strange, just know I didn’t think I would be climbing on roofs for a living either. It’s a long story we could chat about another day, but ever since a young age, I knew I wanted to build something big and use it to help others.

          After twists and turns in my life, I eventually got into residential roofing through a friend. I’ve since saved homeowners millions of dollars through insurance restoration work over the years. Now, we continue the work under our own name, and we’re exposing the secrets of this industry – contractors, manufacturers, and insurance companies alike – because we believe you deserve better in terms of honesty. Though my mainstay has settled into exterior renovations, I never lost the Healthcare Worker’s heart.

          Around here, you won’t get a pushy salesperson eager to sell you a roof you don’t need. You won’t get pressured into filing a home insurance claim when no damage exists. You won’t get additional, artificial markups on upgrades for your roof or siding.

          Instead, you’ll get a friend that’ll lead you in the right direction – even if that means doing nothing and not working with us. We recognize the majority of our services are those that most people have never purchased in their lifetime more than once before, if at all. We therefore take the time and care to provide education, so you’re empowered to make the best decision for yourself and your family.

          We get it. There are a thousand other roofers around. And they would all do backflips to have the pleasure of hopping into your pocketbook and getting your business. We’re honored you’re even reading this page. Truth is, a lot of the other contractors do great quality work and even use the same materials we do. What separates us from the pack, however, is our commitment to accountability. Our in-house 10-year Workmanship Guarantee for major projects bridges the gap between the manufacturer’s warranties that often try to weasel their way out of coverage, and other contractors that will sell your job to a subcontractor who will be to blame – and yet be nowhere to be found.

          In roofing, siding, gutters, etc., we’ve found we fight an uphill battle daily, but the bar is set low at least. We strive to be clear about our processes and own up to our mistakes (because let’s be real – even the biggest and longest-standing companies out there that have “we do it right the first time!” and other clichés like “best quality workmanship in the world” make mistakes too. We just happen to do good by our people instead of making excuses). Our commitment to our people is to provide prompt service, return phone calls, follow up, show up when we say within a reasonable time window, and give you a heads up if things change. You know, real ‘rocket surgery’-type stuff.
